A Recap of the February Houston City Beat Mixer
The energy in the room was electric this February as the Houston City Beat Community Connectors gathered for our monthly Mixer and Business Meeting. It wasn’t just another networking event; it was a masterclass in mutual support and professional growth, filled with the kind of people who make Houston’s business scene truly thrive.
Heartfelt Stories from Our Connectors
We kicked things off by hearing directly from our Community Connectors. Instead of the standard “elevator pitch,” our members shared personal stories of impact. It was inspiring to hear exactly how these leaders have stepped up to help others in the community over the last month. These stories serve as a powerful reminder that behind every great business is a person dedicated to making a difference.

Power, Passion, Purpose -- and the Rodeo!
We also had the pleasure of hearing from our Non-Profit partner, Tish Dolby of Power-Passion-Purpose.
The big news? Houston City Beat is officially participating in the Reliant Rodeo Cook-off! We’ve selected Power-Passion-Purpose as our designated non-profit. When we take home the win, the proceeds will go directly to supporting their incredible mission. It’s a “win-win” in the truest sense of the word.
