On Thursday, April 18, 2024, Constable Ryan Gable's Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a residence in Shenandoah, Texas. The search was conducted following a cyber tip received by the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit regarding the unlawful recording of children.
The investigation revealed that videos depicting juvenile females in public locations, including The Woodlands Mall, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and local parks in Montgomery County, had been recorded. These videos focused on the girls' private areas (clothed) and included footage of girls undressing in a Forever 21 dressing room at The Woodlands Mall.
Detectives identified Taylor Roy as the individual responsible for recording these videos. He was seen in the videos wearing a security guard uniform, and it was confirmed that he was employed as a security guard at The Woodlands Mall during the time the recordings were made.
During the search of the couple's residence, additional videos were discovered. Taylor Roy's wife, Tasha Roy, was interviewed and admitted to her involvement in recording and creating the videos.
Taylor Roy is a tennis coach for children aged 8 to 17 in The Woodlands and Spring areas. Both Taylor and Tasha Roy were charged in April 2024 with the felony offense of unlawful recording.
Following further investigation, Taylor Roy was also charged with indecency with a child in December 2024. He surrendered to authorities on January 4, 2025.
Anyone who believes they or their child may have been a victim of these recordings is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 281-364-4211 and reference case #24E015260.
Constable Gable and his detectives remain committed to protecting children and holding those who exploit and endanger youth accountable.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
