Every business has a soul, but not every business knows how to voice it. Mike’s career has been dedicated to the art of the ‘Big Play’ – capturing the moments and stories that define our city. From his two decades as the Houston Astros Team Historian to my current role as Executive Producer of Houston City Beat, he applies elite-level precision to brand storytelling.
Mike works with founders and executives to help them stop blending into the noise and start standing out as authorities. Whether it’s through cinematic ‘Executive Story’ videos or strategic broadcasting, Mike works with our Community Connectors to help them turn their mission into a powerful visual legacy that resonates with the Greater Houston area.
Connected to the Houston Community
As the team behind Houston City Beat, a multi-media publisher dedicated to telling Houston’s stories through articles, video, and live programming, Lisbet and Mike don’t just cover the city – they’re actively building community in it. Together, they created the Community Connectors network and its monthly networking gatherings, bringing together entrepreneurs, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community builders who believe in collaboration over competition. Through Houston City Beat and these in-person events, they stay hands-on in the community – sharing stories, amplifying local voices, and making the introductions that help Greater Houston grow stronger and more connected.
