On December 7, Houstonians gathered for a free evening of music, dance, and community, celebrating 105 years of holiday magic with a vibrant event that truly captured the spirit of the season.

The event transformed Hermann Square into a holiday village alive with cheer. The festivities included the dazzling illumination of a 48-foot White Fir tree, adorned with nearly 100,000 LED lights and 4,000 ornaments. The lighting ceremony, accompanied by the iconic “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s Messiah and a brilliant fireworks display, was a highlight that left the crowd in awe.
