Operation Salvation describes its mission as helping disabled veterans strengthen confidence and reconnect with others through hands-on woodworking. Its approach centers on shared experience: veterans learning alongside veterans in a supportive workshop environment.
The organization offers non-clinical peer support, with opportunities to develop practical skills and build relationships. It also helps participants connect with additional resources.
