Rare plants, local vendors, student scholarships, and free admission for students, educators, first responders, and military members come together at the GROW Expo at The Berry Center.
There is a major buzz building across Texas, and if you’ve noticed secret stickers popping up on street corners from Austin to Greater Houston lately, you’re looking at the trail of a movement.
The GROW Expo is heading to the Houston area on October 17–18, 2026 at The Berry Center in Cypress, and it’s shaping up to be far more than a typical weekend plant sale.
- Where: The Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, TX
- When: Saturday, October 17–Sunday, October 18, 2026
- Highlights: Free parking and free entry for students, educators, first responders, and military members
Organized as a mission-driven extension of local favorite Rooted Treasures HTX, GROW was created to build a space where plants, people, and community purpose thrive together.
What Makes the GROW Expo Different?
Most botanical markets center strictly on shopping, but GROW is intentional about accessibility and giving back to the community that supports local greenery.
- Community Accessibility: The expo offers free admission for students, educators, first responders, and active military members, alongside free parking for all attendees.
- Investing in the Next Generation: Profits and initiatives from the expo fund student scholarships, directly supporting future horticulturists, creative entrepreneurs, and green industry leaders.
- Supporting Local Small Businesses: The vendor floor brings together regional growers, plant stylists, rare-species collectors, and artisan creators, giving Texas small businesses a major stage to connect with plant lovers.
Hunt for Tickets: The Sticker Scavenger Hunt
The GROW team took a road trip to Austin and placed GROW Expo stickers throughout key spots in the city. If you spot one in the wild, snap a photo and tag or message the team on social media to receive an exclusive ticket discount code.
Plant fans can also comment on the expo’s social channels to suggest where sticker packs should appear next, whether that’s Katy, Cypress, Fulshear, or the heart of Houston.
